Important Updates to Your Maxicare Multifunction Card, MaxiHealth+ App, and MediLink XP Card

We would like to remind you of the following important updates to your Maxicare Multifunction Card, MaxiHealth+ App, and MediLink XP Card:

Already Implemented:

  • Since July 2025, reimbursements are no longer credited to your Cards. These are now transferred directly to your nominated bank account.
  • The MaxiHealth+ App has been phased out effective December 31, 2025.

Effective February 1, 2026:

  • Withdrawals from ATM and POS using your Maxicare Multifunction Card and MediLink XP Card will be phased out.
  • A new transfer fee will be applied.
  • A monthly maintenance fee will be charged at the end of each month, starting February 2026.

Important Reminders:

  • You have until January 31, 2026 to view balances, withdraw funds via ATM, and make POS purchases using your Maxicare Multifunction Card and MediLink XP Card.
  • If you have not yet opened an EqB account using your available balance on your Card or e‑Wallet, please visit any EqB branch. We recommend exploring our ATM Savings Account.
  • You may also request Maxicare or MediLink to transfer your remaining Card and e-Wallet balances through an endorsement process to your nominated bank account via PESONet.
  • Every funds transfer request submitted to Maxicare or MediLink will automatically generate an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of your request.
  • Your Maxicare Multifunction Card and MediLink XP Card will continue to serve as your HMO card, and all benefits and services remain available without interruption.
