Treasury Officer

Job Description:

  • Manage liquidity, daily cash operations, banking relationships, and overall treasury-related functions. Ensuring the Bank remains financially healthy, compliant, and operationally efficient.
  • Manage cash concentration, fund transfers, and allocation of funds among various bank units or accounts, to optimize liquidity utilization.
  • Oversee and authorize treasury transactions (e.g. money-market placements, inter-account transfers, funding, payments) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferably a licensed professional (e.g. CPA) or equivalent certification, or relevant treasury/cash-management certification (as applicable).
  • Preferably a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Has working experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations or related finance/treasury role.
  • Experience in knowledge areas such as money markets, foreign exchange, fixed income, derivatives, risk management, market infrastructure, and ethics.

Project Manager

Job Description:

Primarily focus is in the business context responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects.
Their role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree, in any field.
  • Has business acumen in Project Management and Bank Transformation
  • With at least 5 years of banking experience

Proofs and Reconciliation Officer

Job Description:

  • Responsible in ensuring complete and accurate data entries in the general ledger that tie up with schedules
  • Primarily tasked to maintain reconciled schedules and timely submission of data entries/schedules/financial reports
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet account

Qualifications:

  • Accounting graduate with 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports and required schedules according to requirements and deadlines
  • Must be fast learner, detail-oriented, critical thinker, and able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as a team player
  • Related experience with general accounting and accounts reconciliation in a banking industry is preferred but not required

Pre-Screener (Corporate Salary Loan)

Job Description:

  • Gather information for the loan application
  • Evaluate credit histories for applications
  • Collect data from clients such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment status to fill in information for the loan application
  • Perform research and correct mistakes in applications for customers
  • Review file documentation for missing or erroneous information
  • Meet loan application deadlines

Qualification:

  • College Graduate of Accounting or any Business course (with accounting units)

I.T. Database and Server Administrator

Job Description:

  • Enforce access controls, encryption, and security patches to protect EqB’s databases from unauthorized access and cyber threats, safeguarding both customer information and the bank’s reputation
  • Responsible for monitoring database performance and integrity, preventing data corruption, and ensuring reliable backups to maintain trustworthy data for compliance and operational needs.
  • Ensure proper logging of database activities, adherence to retention schedules, and quick retrieval of data during audits or regulatory inquiries, facilitating smooth compliance with the BSP regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Information Systems, Computer Science and/or other related course
  • At least 5 years of working in the areas of Database/Server Admin
  • At least 3 to 5 years of exposure in the field of Banking
  • Background in the banking industry such as business processes and operations
  • Trusted professional with a clean career history and high personal integrity

Credit Investigator

Job Description:

  • Responsible for conducting credit investigation and background check via system, telephone, or field verification on prospective customers/employees of EqB to determine their eligibility/qualification according to set standards or parameters.
  • Perform background investigation, residence checking, employment verification, business verification, trade checking, card checking request, card checking result, and card check decline

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a college graduate, preferably of any business course
  • Preferably with at least two (2) years of work experience in credit investigation
  • Must be able to use computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • With good oral and written communication skills

Credit Admin Assistant

Job Description:

  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s credit operations, ensuring efficient processing and approval of credit applications, maintaining customer accounts, and managing risks associated with credit decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field
  • Proven experience in credit administration, finance, or accounting roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Business Analyst

Job Description:

  • Responsible for assisting the company’s requirements and defining/shaping business processes that may be found in various back-office areas
  • Assist the Transformation and Project Management Division in developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that will improve process efficiency across all back-office operations, including contract loading, customer support, finance, data entry, mapping, and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree, in any field
  • Has business acumen in project management and business analysis (BRD’s)
  • At least more than 5 years of banking experience

Account Officer (Corporate Salary Loan)

Job Description:

  • Responsible for corporate accreditations monitoring as soon as submitted by the Sales Department for processing. Shall be the person in-charge if the Account Officer is not available.
  • Maintain and enhance good and healthy business relations with customers and loan intermediaries.
  • Keep records, historical data/MIS, and files of contact details of all assigned companies.
  • Maintain professional working relationship with external clients of the bank. The universal Account Assistant assists the AO when not around. Proper presentation is required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Marketing, Accounting, Economics)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and G-Suite)
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication
  • Organized and must be able to manage tasks and deliver result in a timely manner
  • Should have working experience in Corporate Salary Loans
  • Bank industry experienced personnel is a must

Account Officer

Job Description:

  • Account solicitation and marketing of bank products
  • Credit evaluation
  • Preparation of credit proposals for new credit facilities and renewals
  • Obtain credit approval from the Credit Committee
  • Coordination with related units for documentation and implementation purposes
  • Administration and monitoring of borrowing accounts for budget, portfolio quality and audit compliance purposes
  • Conduct customer visitation to obtain/update/validate business information

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accounting or Business course (with accounting units)
  • Knowledge in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, and Account Management as an Account Officer
